If you are experiencing any of the symptoms below, you should contact us as soon as possible:

  • Swelling in the mouth or face, especially if it makes it difficult to breathe

  • Constant facial or tooth pain that is not eased by pain relief medication

  • Dental or facial pain that disrupts your sleep or keeps you awake

  • Any trauma to your teeth or mouth that results in tooth/filling fracture or tooth displacement

  • Bleeding from the mouth that does not stop

If we cannot answer the phone, please leave a message on the answering service and we will call you back as soon as possible.

For any after hours emergencies, you can still call and leave a message, and we will call you back the next day.

Alternatively, you should go to the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.

It may also be helpful to contact the After-Hours service of your General Medical Practitioner, if they have one.
